Dr Anton Uvarov

NHIR Institute founder Dr Anton Uvarov brings a career-long dedication to advancing science to our organisation.

Based in Western Australia, Dr Uvarov has earned a reputation as a smart value investor and a corporate leader, successfully establishing and growing several companies in the healthcare industry with a strong interest in clinical and developmental neuroscience and computational psychiatry.

Dr Uvarov started his investment career as an equities analyst with Citigroup in New York.

Since moving to Australia in 2012, he co-founded numerous ventures and served on the board of ten ASX listed companies helping them develop their life changing pharmaceutical, medical devices, or high-tech products.

He is currently a co-founder and Executive Director of BlinkLab Limited, an innovative digital healthcare company developing smartphone-based AI powered diagnostic tests for autism and ADHD, providing health equality to underserved populations around the world.

He continues to serve as an investment adviser to numerous stockbroking houses in Australia in the areas of biotechnology and medical devices.

With every venture, Dr Uvarov’s consistent objective is to undertake a collaborative effort with top tier scientists and research organisations, systematically building the network of key opinion leaders and developing subject expertise within each project.

It is in this spirit of advancing science and utilising it as a basis to contribute to informed discussion and policymaking by governments, that he formed the NHIR Institute.
